DESCRIPTION
Picturesque places, blue water, mild climate, delicious food and the Mediterranean flora. Lake Garda is really beautiful and we could have stayed there much longer than a week. We started by car from Heidelberg, which is easy to do. For us this one week should be relaxation but of course we also wanted to see something. That's why we went on an excursion every day, but also indulged in a few hours by the sea in between.

General Information
Prevalle is a small town near Lake Garda. We chose this place because it was much cheaper than directly on the lake and we could do our day trips from there. If you want to try real traditional Italian cuisine, go to the "Agriturismo El Cioci" restaurant.

We booked our apartment with Airbnb. We could park for free, had a bar downstairs in the house as well as a pizza restaurant and a supermarket opposite. In addition, a balcony and a kitchen so that we could cook for ourselves.

On the way there we made a short stop in Limone and strolled a little through the town.

The beach is below the Punta Sasso lookout point.

Nice lookout point with a great view. The climb is very easy.

Eating at Agriturismo El Cioci
We came across this great restaurant by chance. The food was amazing and so was the price. It's a family business and they do everything themselves, including the meat and sausage. Be sure to call beforehand and ask if they are open.

SUMMARY
At the beginning of October it was unfortunately quite cool and in the shade you often shivered. But we didn't have a large number of tourists and could explore Lake Garda in peace.
